Hello Parents & Students!
Like we talked about in class today, we are going to be doing an activity next Wednesday that involves using clay dough! It is your job to "cook up" a batch at home to use on Wednesday. Check out the recipe!
Like we talked about in class today, we are going to be doing an activity next Wednesday that involves using clay dough! It is your job to "cook up" a batch at home to use on Wednesday. Check out the recipe!
Classroom Clay Dough
**to be made with adult supervision**
1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring
(If your household does not have any cream of tartar, I will give you some)
Mix the ingredients in a saucepan. Add the food coloring last. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from the pan and knead for five minutes. Place in a plastic bag or airtight container when cooled.
Parents: Please let me know if this request presents a problem and I can help to make sure everyone is able to participate in this fun activity.
