5th Grade Memory Book



Each year, the graduating 5th graders receive a memory book containing photographs and memories from their time at Happy Hollow.  Each 5th grader is required to complete a survey that will be included in the memory book. As you complete your survey, be sure to to use complete sentences and vivid details & description.  Also, do not submit until you've been checked my a teacher.  Check out the link to the survey:

1. read 25 minutes each night - This can include reading group assignments (make sure notes & reading are done for group). You will have class time for this, as well.


2. Ida B & Moon Over Manifest PARCC practice. Read the stories, answer the multiple choice questions, and complete essay (in a google doc). Share with Ms. Candini alyssa_candini@wayland.k12.ma.us - Due Friday

We will take a practice PARCC test on Tuesday. During this time, you'll have an opportunity to ask questions and learn how to navigate the test site. Remember, you must have headphones.

PARCC BOOTCAMP!
We are gearing up for our ELA PARCC tests on 3/24, 2/26, & 3/30.  For the next three weeks, we will be discussing test taking strategies and practicing multiple choice and response questions.

2. Complete reading passages, multiple choice, & response - due Friday
There will be a working lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday if you need help with this.
